Make a deck with AI

The assistant writes content into fixed templates and keeps going until the check passes. You review the screenshots.

  1. Create the project

    Each deck project is a small folder with the templates, rules and skill.

    npx pcafe init my-talk
    cd my-talk && npm install

  2. Start your assistant in the folder

    It reads AGENTS.md (the rules) and skills/pcafe (the method: facts, storyline, templates by content shape, limits, check).

    Run claude in the folder. CLAUDE.md includes AGENTS.md, and the skill in .claude/skills is picked up automatically.

  3. Give it your material and a clear finish line

    Point it at your notes, name the audience and length, and say when it is done.

    Make a 10-slide deck about our Q3 results from notes.md for the leadership team, following AGENTS.md and skills/pcafe/SKILL.en.md. Use the editorial style. Only use facts from notes.md and give each one a source. You are done when `npx pcafe check q3-review` prints PASS and you have looked at every screenshot in qa/.

  4. Let it run the check until PASS

    The assistant fixes every FAIL (overflow, collisions, font sizes) by shortening or splitting slides, never by shrinking fonts.

  5. Review the screenshots

    Open qa/slide-NN-1920x1080.png. Look for empty halves, crowded slides and emphasis that does not match the text. Ask for changes in plain words.

  6. Build and send

    The result is one offline HTML file in dist/.

Good to know

  • Facts need a source. Ask the assistant to leave out what it cannot source.
  • If a slide does not fit, it should split the slide, not shrink the text.
  • Compare styles at /styles before you choose one, or ask for two and compare.
